How do we do it?
Building mindfulness, mental flexibility, and resilience through the practices and principles of Intuitive Eating:

How much is it?
Each month, you'll be billed $97. This is a fraction of what it would cost to get 1-1 coaching with Steph.
Is there coaching?
Yes. There are Zoom group coaching calls run by Steph an average of 2 times a month.
How much do I have to participate?
It's totally up to you but if you don't participate, you won't get results.
Can I cancel any time?
You'll be billed on the same day of the month that you signed up. You can cancel at any time with 7 days notice. There are no refunds on months that have already been charged, even if you didn't use the membership.
Do I keep access if I leave?
For a membership, if you leave, your access to the membership area/materials and community stops. You do not get to keep the videos, recordings, etc.
Think of it like Netflix or Amazon Prime. If you stop the membership, your access goes away.
Can't I just google / youtube this info?
Sure. But 1) do you really have time to spend doing that and 2) googling is not the same as practicing and getting support.
What will I get access to when I sign up?
You'll get access to the Member Portal and the community, and you'll be able to participate in activities right away.
Can I get accountability?
We have several peer accountability groups you can join.
How can I receive group coaching?
There are group Zoom calls twice monthly on average. Recordings are available if you can't attend live. For Q&A sessions, you can submit a question ahead of time for Steph to answer. The question can remain anonymous if you like.
Can I join if I don't believe anti-racism is important?
No. Diet culture is a tool of the white supremacist patriarchy. If you're not ready to question these systems, this is not the group for you.
Can I join if I don't believe in intersectional feminism?
No. Diet culture is a tool of the white supremacist patriarchy. If you're not ready to question these systems and/or you believe trans women aren't women, this is not the group for you.
How is this different than a course?
A course runs for a short period of time, say 4-8 weeks. A membership is for ongoing implementation and putting what you're learning into action. The pace is more relaxed.
How time consuming is this?
Plan on an average of 30-60 minutes a week...that's the length of one average Netflix TV show.
Tune In is designed to fit in with your life, not take it over! But if you want results, you have to do the work. You can't expect change to happen in a week, either.
Is the community on Facebook?
No. Facebook is a distraction factory. It's loaded with diet culture ads, shit that makes you feel bad about yourself, and a billion things to pull your attention away from the task at hand. Our community is hosted on an ad-free platform called Slack.
Is the community monitored?
Yes! And Steph is present to help answer questions.
Will Intuitive Eating help me lose weight?
Intuitive Eating, as a set of principles, is very clear that there are no promises that your body weight will change. In other words, your body weight may stay the same, go down, or go up. The point of Intuitive Eating is to improve your relationship with food. Programs about Intuitive Eating that promise weight loss are co-opting the term and movement. If you're unwilling to set intentional weight loss aside while you learn about Intuitive Eating, you'll unconsciously undermine the process and fall back into old patterns.
Is this therapy?
Therapy focuses on healing the "there and then" while coaching focuses on the "here and now." Therapy is wonderful, and there’s no shame in receiving therapy for your mental health, to resolve trauma, and to heal painful past experiences. In coaching, while we may seek to understand how the "there and then" is playing out in the "here and now", our focus is on creating new actions and outcomes. Many of clients, past and present, also have therapists and this work is often very synergistic!
Is Steph a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor?
Yes. She was certified under Evelyn Tribole & Elyse Resch, the Intuitive Eating Pros.
Is Steph a HAES aligned practitioner?
Yes. She has signed the Health At Every Size pledge. HAES focuses on body respect, critical awareness, and compassionate self-care.
